This week, Olivet Academy Great Britain began a series of Bible studies for teen aged students on Romans. During the first week of the program, Romans 1 was taught and all involved were reminded of the need to always be thankful to God and to give praise and glory to Him. Specifically, teens learned how further they get from God the more they sin and the more they try to get close to God the more likely they are to do what is right.
Teens learned how this was shown in the life of Joseph. Joseph lived in the time before the law of Moses was given by God, yet because he always sought God and tried to please God, he was able to resist temptations and to do the right thing in multiple situations.
Next week the program will continue with Romans 2 and beyond, and it is hoped that it can lead to strong spiritual growth for all participants.
