By the amazing grace of God, a new church was dedicated in Rome, Italy this month.
Missionaries have arrived in Rome and immediately commenced evangelism efforts to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to those in this historic city.
A dedication service has been held at a central city location, where it is hoped many people can come for bible studies, and attend services at the new Rome church.
The sermon was delivered by Pastor Moriah based on Isaiah 43:19-21:
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
The wild animals honour me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
After the dedication service, the missionaries led a time of prayer and fellowship where members shared grace.
Though this first footstep is small, missionaries prayed to hold on to the gospel so that God will do new things in this city, and open ways for the people of this country to come back to faith in Jesus Christ alone.
