Moldova Missionaries Arrive to Chisinau, First Mission in Balkan Region is Open

Missionaries P. Alexandr and Natalie arrived Saturday, June 19, to the Moldovan capital of Chisinau. This marks the opening of Balkan region and the expansion of missions in East Europe. Moldova is an Orthodox country. It is bordered by Romania to the south and Ukraine to the north and has as main languages Romanian and Russian, so it has the potential to evangelize many Romanian and Russian speakers so that mission expand to the South and towards Eurasia.

Upon their arrival, Moldova missionaries shared, “We believe there are many people prepared by God in Moldova, so obedience is important, and also it is important to use the gifts and blessings in a right way so the Lord’s name can be glorified and His gospel proclaimed. We need God’s love and His wisdom in order to stay firm on this path, to teach other people, and share His blessings.”
