Frankfurt Immanuel church held a Christmas retreat for two days from December 24th-25th. Beginning with the opening service in Romans chapter 1, 2 lectures from Romans chapter 2-3 followed and a prayer meeting on the first day.
Attendees could deeply meditate on sin and the grace of salvation by Jesus Christ through lectures of Romans. The righteousness of God who came to those who were forced to suffer eternal punishment through sin, In other words, we were justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. This is not by observing the law, but by the grace of God alone. Christ Jesus is God’s gift-giving to all people without distinction.
The second day, they concluded the retreat with a Christmas service. P.Philip preached the Coming of Jesus Christ from Luke2:8-14. Members celebrated Christmas with joyful hearts.
