Members from the UK have gathered together at the Europe O.C. to celebrate the New Year together and give their first moments of 2020 to God.
Presentations were given by Pastor Andrew for the UK’s National Top 10 News of 2019, and by Pastor Joao for Europe’s Top 10 News of 2019.
Through the presentations, members were able to reflect on the grace that God has poured down abundantly on the UK and Europe missions and ministries over the past 12 months.
2019 was a year of great development for the UK, and a big foundation has now been built for even bigger progress in 2020 as Europe moves towards the Big General Assembly later this year.
Following the Top 10 News being revealed, Pastor Joao and Pastor Andrew presented some major prayer topics for Europe and the UK for 2020, and members united together for 30 minutes in prayer for God to fulfill all His plans by His will over the coming year.
At the conclusion of the prayer meeting, members praised and held a countdown to the New Year. Pastor Andrew led members in a New Year’s prayer, and delivered a New Year’s sermon based on Jeremiah 29:11-13, exhorting members to put their faith in God alone, knowing that He has a plan for us for 2020 that He will surely fulfill.
After the sermon, Bible verses were distributed to everyone, which gave inspiration and strength to all. May 2020 be a year devoted to glorifying our Lord Jesus from beginning to end.
