Dr. William Wagner Delivers Powerful Sermon at London Immanuel Church

London Immanuel Church welcomed a special guest preacher on Sunday. Dr. William Wagner of the Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies and President Emeritus of Olivet University brought great encouragement to the congregation.

Dr. Wagner delivered a powerful sermon based on Matthew 28:16-20, emphasising the theme: “What Have We Been Called to Do? What is Our Mission?” He highlighted that making disciples of all nations is the fundamental calling for the followers of Jesus.

To fulfill this mission, he outlined three essential steps:

Go – We must take action and move forward, not remain stagnant.

Baptize – Baptism is crucial but should always be conducted with full personal willingness and freedom.

Teach – Every aspect of the Word must be taught and made known to disciples.

Dr. Wagner reminded congregants that in carrying out this mission, one must always remember that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus Christ.

After the service, church members gathered for a time of fellowship with Dr. Wagner, and listened to his experiences of mission work in Austria. It was a gracious and inspiring time for all attendees.

London Immanuel Church expressed deep gratitude for Dr. Wagner’s visit and all church members were encouraged to embrace the Great Commission with renewed dedication.
