This time Matthew 5:4 was meditated on. Jesus tells us to have a mourning heart in regards to the sin inside of us and inside of the world. True repentance can be born when we humbly confess our sins with a contrite heart. God comforts those who mourn and follow the path of the cross with joy that no one can take away.
